I already have a Lovefilm account but opted for the Netflix 1 month trial.

The device convergence of this app will make it a biggie. On launch day I downloaded the Netflix app for Nintendo Wii, XBox 360 and it just appeared automatically as an option on my Apple TV2 after a restart.

The interface on all these devices is different but equally easy to navigate. The big plus for lots of people will be that it streams lots of titles in HD with 5.1 sound. Lovefilm and Blinkbox only stream in SD in my experience.

The launch date library doesn't bother me. It will only get bigger when they demonstrate a sizeable user base to the content providers. Two seasond of 'Mankell's Wallander' and 8 seasons of '24' will keep me busy for a while.

Seems on Par with the American version of NetFlix. Lacking a current library and missing small features like the ability to see who the actors and actresses are, even the ability to toggle subtitiles would be a nice change without having to restart the feed.

Whilst MW3 had won in terms of sales, I do agree that it has been dumbed down a little. It's just about following now and admiring the view because the game has become a multiplayer focused title now.

Considering BF3 campaign is so damn short, I'm not sure how it couldnt fit on the disc and needed texture install packs when whatever DiCE did for BC2, they should have just used that for BF3.

since valve released mod tools for both half life 1 and 2 you can download texture packs that will make the textues a bit nicer for HL1 and for HL2 there is a mod called cinematic mod where the grafics quality can almost be compared to that of crysis

I only want to start HL with Black Mesa, I don't see a point in hurting my eyes with minimal textures in full HD and neither in starting with HL2.

Unfortunately I never had the chance to play HL when it was released. I didn't end up playing it until right before HL2 came out. But it was still a very magical experience. A lot of people will tell you it's the greatest of all time. For me, it isn't even in my top 3 favorites (maybe top 10), but it was still a game that I admire.

It is really smart to have safe cage for player to figure out all basic movement and then release them and start the interaction, all while on a atmospheric non-cutscene.

Brian, respectfully - I disagree. . Gears Of War is a linear 3rd-person console shooter; not only should it not be compared to Half-Life - they're just not as good :)
